Ocean Cabanas is a luxury dive resort located on the North West Point of Grand Cayman, designed to offer divers and vacationers a seamless blend of comfort, adventure, and relaxation. The resort provides direct access to world-class dive sites, stunning ocean views, and top-tier amenities to enhance your diving experience.

Accommodations

Ocean Cabanas offers a variety of luxurious accommodations designed for comfort and convenience. The Sea Fan & Star Fish Cabanas on the ground floor feature 1,450 sq-ft of space, two king beds, a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious lounge, an oceanfront lanai, and two en-suite master bathrooms, along with scuba gear drying racks. The Eagle Ray & Stingray Cabanas, located on the top floor, offer the same layout and amenities but with elevated Caribbean views. For larger groups, the Nassau Grouper Cabana is a spacious 2,250 sq-ft standalone unit featuring two king-sized beds, two twin beds (convertible to a king), 

a full kitchen, a wrap-around ocean lanai, three en-suite master bathrooms, a large outdoor shower, and scuba gear drying racks. The Angel Fish Cabana, a 950 sq-ft ground-floor unit, is perfect for singles or couples, offering one king-sized bed, a full kitchen, a lounge, an ocean lanai, an en-suite master bathroom, a private outdoor shower, and a scuba gear drying rack. Lastly, the Sea Turtle Cabana, a 900 sq-ft top-floor unit, provides partial ocean views, featuring one king-sized bed, a lounge with an ocean lanai, an en-suite master bathroom, and a scuba gear drying rack, making it a perfect retreat for those seeking tranquility.

For those looking to explore the underwater world, the resort offers exclusive shore diving access with a custom entry and exit platform, allowing guests to easily access Cayman’s renowned dive sites, along with unlimited shore diving from the resort’s private dive shop. Guests can also enjoy on-site BBQ facilities, perfect for outdoor cooking and dining while taking in the warm Caribbean breeze. The relaxation gardens, with shaded seating, provide a tranquil retreat for reading or simply enjoying the peaceful surroundings. To keep guests connected and entertained, the resort offers complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the property, along with flat-screen smart TVs in each bedroom and living area.

Our ocean facing pool is perfect for relaxing, floating and enjoying your post dive time. Deep enough to offer training, this pool’s primary purpose is relaxation. We have chosen a salt water pool. This means less chemicals and no chlorine smell. Its not salt water from the ocean, rather it uses salt to clean and stabilize the water. This is a shared pool and open from 7am to late.

Our location means we have access to the best shore diving in the Cayman Islands. We have designed the perfect entry and exit platform. This is due to be completed late 2024. At this time, we offer shore diving access from next door at Light House Point. This stunning reef is just steps away from your Cabana. You will also have unlimited shore diving included from our dive shop in George Town, 245 North Church St. This location offers perfect dive conditions 90 % of the year. No one else offers multiple shore diving locations. Another first for Grand Cayman Diving. Snorkeling is available at both of these locations.

On property, we have BBQ’s for everyone to use. Cook your fish, meat and burgers outside in the warm Cayman air.

Around the property we have created garden spaces with comfortable seating, shade and a feeling of calm. A perfect place to sit back, relax and recharge your inner battery. Play a fun garden game or play a game of table tennis or corn hole! Each Cabana has its own private patio or lanai for outside dining, realxing and star gazing. Watch the sunset and enjoy the warm Caribbean breeze. The pool deck is an enchanting place to view the ocean in all her glory and share time with friends & family. Please remember our properties quiet time 10 pm to 6pm.

Whether connecting to social media and posting your vacation pictures or checking in your work emails being connected is important. Our resort has strong, stable high speed internet connection to all cabanas. Its included in your room rate and is easy to connect. We also have WIFI around the property so you are never to be without a signal.

Some people never turn them on! However, each bedroom and living area has a flat screen smart TV. Watch your favorite streaming channel at the end of a day of diving.

The cabanas have been equipped with good quality Whirlpool appliances. From a piece of toast in the morning or producing a full four course meal you will have everything you need. Washing and drying facilities are included in every cabanas.

Grand Cayman is widely considered the culinary jewel of the Caribbean. Ocean Cabanas is located just minutes away from some of the best restaurants on island. Vivo Cafe is next door and serves local inspired fish dishes and plant based options. Macabuca is the islands best ocean front bar and grill. Fish tacos, wraps and awesome ice cream sandwiches. A full bar open daily 11 am to late. Upstairs they have the Cracked Conch which is the fine dining option.

Bay Side Cafe open daily from 6am is a great cafe and lunch spot with awesome coffees and pizzas. Also a licensed bar it opens for dinner as well.

Calypso Grill is one of our favorite restaurants and serves caribbean fare with a european feel. Dine under the stars for an unforgettable experience.

Foster Supermarket is 1/2 minute south of the property. Opens 7am to 10pm Monday to Saturday. Next door to Fosters is Jacques Scotts liquor store and has everything from a six pack of beer to fine wines and champagnes. Cook at the cabana and watch the sunset with a cocktail!

When you check in your cabanas will be ready and cleaned to the latest Covid guidelines by our team of dedicated cleaners. We include one maid service for every 6 night stay. Want extra? No problem just let us know. Daily service is $50 USD. Want less? Let us know we understand that in these times some people don’t want service.

In the center of the resort is our cabana. This is the perfect place to relax in the shade with the cool caribbean breeze. Become one with Cayman as you center your mind to the ocean vibes. Reading a novel, catch up of emails, play a game with the family or just rest your mind and forget all about the “real world” in our peaceful cabana. We call it Cabana Time come see what it’s about.

Its hard to beat the feeling of standing under a rain shower with the Caribbean around you. Don’t worry all our outdoor showers are completely private, its just a nice way to rinse off in the tropics. Sea Turtle and Nassau Grouper Cabanas have private outdoor showers. Sea Fan Cabana has a beautiful teak out door shower on the patio to wash off after a swim.
